Over the years, we have gained and built competencies through understanding the needs and expectations of our customers and varying market challenges. We have taken step-by-step efforts to bridge the gap between customer needs, expectations, and market challenges.
- What is your motivation for starting this company?
To foster the expertise in my field and be a passionate entrepreneur, building and nurturing a business family of technical experts, empowering them to grow their competencies and contribute their skills towards helping to grow the business and the country’s economy.
- What are some of the obstacles you’ve faced in achieving your goals?
Finding new dedicated people with competent skills to match business requirements.
A need for strict governance and monitoring body to regulate the market and provide healthy and fair competition in the country.

Our ability to offer competitive pricing along-with high quality of service, with a focus on delivering customer satisfaction, thus building long-term trust and assurance with our customers, who we consider our partners.
Compliance services assure trust and confidence between all stakeholders, including Suppliers, Customers, Government Regulatory bodies and the Public. Hence, being an organization that provides Inspection, Testing, Product and System Certification services, we are constantly focussed at building and assuring these values.
During the recent economic slowdown, we found that some clients were prioritizing lower pricing over service quality. This created a sense of fear in the market to compromise on quality of service. However, we at URS chose to work with each of our customers, within the comfort levels of their budgets and yet never to compromise on delivering a high quality of service with consistency. This approach benefited URS greatly by demonstrating our commitment to our core values of Assured Confidence and ensuring success for our customers, thus building deep trust and long-lasting relationships.
- What makes your company’s services/solutions unique? What is coming soon in terms of new offerings and innovations?
As an Audit Results company, we enlist the help of third-party service providers to help close non-conformities, so that customers can receive their certification successfully. However, sometimes there are delays in closing non-conformities by these third-party service providers which causes a delay in the issuance of the certificates to the client. This can sometimes hamper their business performance. To mitigate and resolve these issues, we have invested in and developed relevant facilities, under the group, to help speed up this process, thus greatly resolving the issue and reducing delays in certification. This is a win-win situation for both the clients and URS.
As a process efficiency driven organization, URS is constantly working to innovate its service offering to ensure better delivery of services to enhance the customer experience. We are constantly working to deliver better service efficiency rather than focus on profit. Innovation is a big part of our work culture in that we are always looking for better ways to help assist our customers achieve success in their business.
