His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain received His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, at his official residence in Abu Dhabi today.

During the meeting, the two sides held cordial talks, cementing the deep brotherly relationship between the UAE and Bahrain, wishing both countries further progress and prosperity.

The two leaders also discussed bilateral cooperation in various fields, reaffirming their shared desire to continue consultations for the mutual benefit of both countries and peoples.

The meeting was attended by Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Ruler of the Al Dhafra region; Deputy Prime Minister and Minister in the Presidency, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan , Special Matters Adviser to the Presidential Ministry of Courts; and Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Major General Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor of Bahrain and Commander of the Royal Guard, also attended the meeting.
