in the just-concluded 95th Academy AwardsThen, Michelle Yeoh made history by becoming the first Asian to win an Academy Award for Best Actress for her move in a sci-fi comedy.
In a 2013 interview with Bollywood Hungama, Michelle Yeoh revealed that the two were brand ambassadors for an NGO, but had never collaborated in a professional capacity. Michelle also called Amir not only an “incredible actor” but also a “humanitarian”.
“I have not worked with Aamir Khan But we are all brand ambassadors for an NGO called Live to Love, which aims to protect the environment. I’m a big fan of his work, not only is he an amazing actor, but he’s also a humanitarian. He’s funny, he’s smart. I hope I will have the opportunity to work with him soon. Did you hear Amir? ’ she said.
During the interview, Michelle was also asked if she had seen Amir’s blockbuster “Three Idiots” at the time. The star said: “Of course, I don’t think anyone hasn’t seen it! It’s very charming, very smart and funny.”
Meanwhile, Amir’s last appearance was in Laal Singh Chaddha, which was a box office disaster. The actor is said to be currently reading the script and finalizing his return to the big screen.
