The 2022 Cultural Summit will unite leading cultural figures from around the world in a country that prides itself on a cosmopolitan population and strong investment in the arts
The United Arab Emirates will host its fifth Cultural Summit next week in Abu Dhabi, celebrating its cosmopolitan population and aiming to highlight its status as a global cultural hub.
The three-day event, which began on October 23, aims to bring together cultural leaders from around the world under the banner of “Living Culture”.
According to the summit website, the event will include “policy makers, researchers, artists and cultural professionals” who will “study pressing contemporary issues, including the impact of digital media and artificial intelligence, creative ecosystems and indigenous practices, representation and topographical public spaces.”
