New Delhi [India]July 7 (ANI): Federal Minister of State for External Affairs and Culture Meenakashi Lekhi is getting ready for a four-day official visit to Croatia and North Macedonia starting Friday and will attend the Dubrovnik Forum.

“Official visits to Croatia and North Macedonia tonight. We are delighted to share India’s perspective at the prestigious Dubrovnik Forum in 2023. In North Macedonia, look forward to extensive discussions on bilateral relations and interaction with India .Indian diaspora,” Leahy tweeted.

During his July 8-11 visit, Lehi will take part in the prestigious Dubrovnik Forum organized by the Croatian Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs on Saturday, according to a press statement from the foreign ministry.

“The 2023 forum will focus on global geopolitical and geoeconomic dynamics and needs,” the statement said.

Relations between India and Croatia have been friendly since the days of the former Yugoslavia. Marshal Tito, a Croat who ruled Yugoslavia for more than three decades, maintained a close relationship with the then Indian leader.

Lehi will visit North Macedonia on July 10 after his first visit to Croatia.

During her two-day visit, July 10-11, MoS Lekhi will “engage in extensive discussions on bilateral relations, including meeting counterparts from the foreign and cultural ministries. She will also interact with the Indian diaspora here. She will also visit the Mother Teresa Memorial,” the statement read.
