ISLAMABAD, May 28 (PTI) A powerful 6.0-magnitude earthquake shook several parts of Pakistan on Sunday morning, sparking panic and forcing residents to flee their homes.

According to the National Earthquake Monitoring Center in Islamabad, the epicenter of the quake was located in the border region of Afghanistan and Tajikistan at a depth of 223 km, which greatly reduced its destructive impact.
