St. Petersburg [Russia]June 17 (ANI/WAM): Supreme Council member and Ras Al Khaimah ruler Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi separately met with Russia’s First Deputy Prime Minister Andrey Belouu Sof, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade and Industry Denis Manturov, on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2023, in which the UAE is participating as this year’s Guest of Honor.
The RAK Ruler discussed with Russian officials the prospect of enhanced cooperation between the UAE and the Russian Federation, as well as a range of economic, investment and trade issues.
Minister of Culture and Youth Salem bin Khalid Al Qasimi, Minister of Economy Abdullah bin Touk Al Mali and UAE Ambassador to the Russian Federation Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Al Jaber attended these two meetings.
Sheikh Saud leads the UAE delegation to the international event, which has been held here since 1997, and is attended by many heads of state, senior government officials, business executives, experts and members of regional and international economic groups and organizations . (ANI/WAM)
