Social media star Adalia Rose has spent most of her life raising awareness about Progeria, and in doing so, she has touched the hearts of many. We regret to report that Adalia passed away at the age of 15.
Adalia’s family revealed her passing to her millions of followers in a touching statement.
“At 7pm on January 12, 2022, Adalia Rose Williams was released from this world,” the statement read. “She slipped in and slipped away, But her life was far from that. She touched millions and left her biggest mark on everyone who knew her. She’s no longer in pain and is now dancing to all the music she loves.”
Adalia Rose has amassed more than 15 million followers on social media as she documents her experience with Hutchinson-Gilford Progeria Syndrome – a rare genetic disorder that causes children to die during their lifetime. Live to age 8 in a year. Adalia was diagnosed with the disease when she was 3 months old, and she developed symptoms such as developmental delay and hair loss.
Despite her progeria, Adalia enjoys sharing videos about makeup tips, happy moments with her family, and showing off her great personality.
Many fans and stars, including designers Michael Costello, offering condolences to Adalia’s family and sharing a sweet message about her impact on the world.
“My heart is broken. I got a message last night at 7 o’clock that Adalia Rose Williams is called God’s home. I can’t speak, can’t stop crying,” Costello, who designed Adalia’s gowns, posted on Instagram said. “She’s an angel. Even though she’s been dealt the card, she has the most positive attitude and big dreams of helping everyone around her.”
Adalia’s family has not disclosed the cause of her death. Continue to pray for her loved ones.
