The UAE Warriors will host another three-peat weekend later this month, with a pair of featherweights dueling for the second card of the three-peat.
Austria’s Mochamed Machaev (12-1) will face Kazakhstan’s Bagdos Olzhabay (13-3) in the UAE Warriors 39 main event on March 18, 2023.
Promotions officials confirmed the reservation to Cageside Press on Tuesday.The event will be held at the Etihad Arena on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi and will be broadcast live UFC Fight PassUAE Warriors 38: Africa on March 17; followed by UAE Warriors 40: Battle of Arabia on Sunday, March 19.
Both Macaev and Olzhabay will make their debuts in the tournament. Kazakh Olzhabay, 26, has won his last five fights, all of which have come within distance, including four submissions.
Machayev, 23, has won his last two fights. He has previously participated in events such as XFN and Brave CF. The Beast was 10-0 before meeting Gamzat Magomedov in 2021, but has bounced back nicely since then.
