42 Abu Dhabi and ADSSA collaborate to integrate authority beneficiaries in the field of coding

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates: 42 Abu Dhabi, an innovative and disruptive coding school in the UAE capital offering a unique peer-to-peer approach to gamified learning, hosted a group of Emiratis during an introductory session organized in partnership with the Abu Dhabi Social Support Authority (ADSSA).

The conference marked the start of a joint collaboration between 42 Abu Dhabi and the Authority to introduce beneficiaries to the school’s innovative approach to learning that uses a project-based approach to develop flexible learning pathways that empower students to take control of their own learning journey.

The workshop resulted in a group of Authority beneficiaries joining the school’s program and embarking on their journey to learn to code, one of the most important fields of our time. Schools and authorities will continue to hold additional meetings to broaden the pool of beneficiaries.

HE Qasim Alhashmi, Executive Director, Beneficiary Affairs, ADSSAsaid, “At the Abu Dhabi Social Support Authority, our aim is to provide innovative opportunities for our beneficiaries. As the UAE and the rest of the world prioritize skills development and capacity building in coding and advanced technologies, the Authority has partnered with 42 This joint initiative between Abu Dhabi introduces ADSSA beneficiaries into new areas of expertise. This enables them to acquire new skills that will increase and diversify their sources of income to support them in providing for their families Live a decent life.”

42 Marcos Muller Habig, Acting CEO of Abu Dhabi, said: “Hosting this conference further cements our role as a talent incubator that is developing and upskilling Emirati talent in the coding space, enabling them to lead Abu Dhabi’s digital transformation. We look forward to hosting participants from more entities in the UAE , introducing them to our revolutionary coding program, which has been a huge global success at 42 Network and has provided thousands of students with essential digital skills.”

Since its launch, 42 Abu Dhabi has enrolled 475 students, including 139 Emirati students, further cementing its role in upskilling the nation’s talent and equipping them with digital skills. Over the past year, 358 job and internship opportunities have been provided to 42 Abu Dhabi students, including 109 sponsorships for Emirati students, thanks to the school’s successful partner network.

All 42 Abu Dhabi students who complete the school’s common core curriculum, four additional modules and a six-month internship are eligible for a diploma in software development accredited by the UAE’s National Qualifications Center (NQC).
