Overview Establishment of a dedicated training facility for EarthLink staff
e&’s Etisalat Academy to develop comprehensive training program focused on Gigabit Passive Optical Network (GPON) FTTH network systems
The training program will be hosted by e&’s Etisalat Academy experts
Etisalat Academy by e& has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with EarthLink to establish the EarthLink Academy. The MoU marks a partnership aimed at achieving excellence in business, leadership and talent development, knowledge transfer and vocational training.
The strategic MoU was signed by Muammar Nasir AlRukhaimi, CEO of Etisalat Services Holding, and Dr. Alaa Jasim, CEO of EarthLink Company, at a ceremony held at Etisalat Academy in Dubai.
Under the MOU, e&’s Etisalat Academy will commit to establishing a dedicated training institution, EarthLink Academy, and develop a GPON FTTH network and service training program for EarthLink. The comprehensive training program will cover the fields of telecommunications and fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) network systems, ensuring high-quality training programs to meet the resource needs of the market.
Muammar Nasir AlRukhaimi, Chief Executive Officer, Etisalat Services Holding, said: “By leveraging the academy’s expertise in human resource management and development, business and telecom management, and e-learning systems, the training program will provide EarthLink employees with the essential skills to navigate technology. Guided by experts at Etisalat Academy, they will enhance their training capabilities, stay up-to-date on performance and receive excellence in education and skills development.”
The two companies will work together to develop policies, procedures and quality control processes to ensure the Academy delivers high-quality training programs to meet the resource needs of the marketplace.
