Top EV maker NWTN to set up production line in Abu Dhabi

NWTN, an eco-conscious mobility technology company bringing passenger-centric green premium mobility solutions to the world, has signed an agreement with the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (DED) to build an integrated road in the emirate in accordance with the highest international standards. production line.

Under the deal, its main subsidiary, NWTN Technologies Industries, will bring passenger-focused, green and premium mobility solutions to the emirate and expand its presence across the region.

The agreement with DED Abu Dhabi will help strengthen cooperation and contribute to the development of the emirate’s automotive industry.

Arafat Al Yafei, Executive Director Engineer, said: “This agreement with NWTN is part of our efforts to enhance Abu Dhabi’s competitiveness, equip people with the necessary skills and develop the automotive industry in line with Abu Dhabi’s industrial strategic goals. and the transportation industry’s efforts.” Industrial Development Board, DED.

Regarding the partnership, NWTN Automotive President Paul Lin said: “We are excited about the prospect of expanding our presence in Abu Dhabi and contributing to the development of the automotive industry.”

“This partnership is in line with our commitment to local talent development and technological advancement,” Lim said.

The MOU is valid for two years with the option of renewal for both parties.

“Within the framework of the agreement, DED is committed to cooperating and coordinating to design a streamlined working system that will simplify, facilitate and strengthen the necessary procedures for NWTN to obtain industrial licenses,” Al Yafei said.

“The DED will ensure that these procedures meet the required technical, organizational and procedural standards,” he added.
