Startups Invited to Apply to Exhibit at Yachting Ventures and Abu Dhabi International Boat Show Innovation Center

The Abu Dhabi International Boat Show (ADIBS), in partnership with Yachting Ventures, has announced the launch of the Yachting Ventures Innovation Center to support cleantech and sustainable start-ups in the recreational marine and yachting industries.

Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), has declared 2023 the UAE Year of Sustainable Development. Recognizing this, ADIBS has introduced the Yachting Ventures Innovation Center at the fifth annual Boat Show, which is scheduled to take place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center from 9-12 November.

The Yachting Ventures Innovation Hub aims to bring together investors, industry experts and innovators interested in creating a more sustainable maritime industry. The center hopes to pair these professionals together to create an environment where they can collaborate, educate and network with each other.

The center will provide space for 10 start-ups and Yachting Ventures will select and invite those selected to participate. The center hopes to create an environment that fosters the growth of cleantech start-ups. Anyone can apply to exhibit, including captains and crew.

As the maritime industry in the Middle East continues to grow and evolve, we must prioritize sustainability and foster the development of innovative solutions. The Innovation Center will be a key platform , connecting startups and entrepreneurs with customers, investors and industry experts, enabling them to present their ideas and drive positive change in the industry,” said Gabbi Richardson, founder of Yachting Ventures.
