Dubai Launches Dh3,000 Rewards for Residents Who Invite Guests
Got family or friends thinking about visiting? Dubai just made it worth your while to invite them over. The Dubai Invite scheme, launched by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, rewards residents with more than Dh3,000 in perks when their guests come to town.
Here’s how it works:
- Register your visitor’s details and arrival date on the Visit Dubai
- Nominate up to 5 guests at a time, with more nominations allowed through separate forms
- Guests must live outside the UAE and hold a valid tourist visa
- Visits must fall between July 20 and October 31
- Once arrival is confirmed, you’ll get a reward email within 3 working days
The rewards cover hotel stays, dining, attraction tickets and other lifestyle experiences across the city.
The Dubai Invite scheme comes after the city already suspended its nightly hotel tax and municipal charges earlier this year, part of a wider Dh1.5 billion push to support hotels and attractions during a quieter tourism season.
It’s a simple idea: turn residents into tourism ambassadors, while giving visiting families more reasons to explore Dubai this summer and autumn.
