Run, don’t walk, go to Sheikha Fatima Park…
Want to see Abu Dhabi’s new restaurant in the capital? Then plan your weekend visit to Mamafri, which finally opens its doors at Sheikha Fatima Park.
This beloved Jumeirah restaurant hails from Dubai and is so popular in the UAE that it opened its second Dubai outlet in April at Gate Village, DIFC. Mamafri’s Capital Cousin at Sheikha Fatima Park marks the third installment of this beloved Asian fusion restaurant.
On the menu, diners can fill their stomachs with dishes such as crispy fried chicken and brioche buns with sambal sauce, Japanese ramen, Malaysian curry prawns and kimchi fried rice.
If the menu hasn’t made you clear your schedule, maybe take a peek at the jaw-dropping interior. The aesthetic follows the same minimalist Japanese-inspired style as its Dubai counterpart, while taking advantage of the high ceilings and tree-lined setting. Curvaceous ceilings, earthy creams, peach and stone tones, and open kitchens have made us dream of filling our feed with pictures of this hot new restaurant.
Discussing the opening earlier this year, co-founders Rashed Belhoul and Saif Al Romaithi said the Abu Dhabi outlet would be the first and only one to offer a sushi bar experience, and also teased the launch of a breakfast full of Southeast Asian flavours menu.
The opening of Mamafri follows another Dubai favorite (though this one is from Taiwan): from Dafengwhich began welcoming guests to its new home on The Galleria Al Maryah Island at the end of June.
