Nate Diaz Made it clear that he intends to pursue opportunities outside the Octagon after his contract recently expired. However, Chael Sonnen explained how Diaz’s contract structure helped the UFC retain the Stockton native.
MMA reporter Ariel Helwani recently revealed that Diaz is still bound by the 90-day non-compete clause that came with his deal. That means Diaz cannot negotiate with other promotions for the next three months.

#2.Islam Makhachev hits back at Michael Chandler
Michael Chandler recently said it was “too early” to praise Islam Makhachev because he has yet to face elite competition.
It didn’t take long for his comments to reach Makhachev. Fight back “iron” on social media. The title challenger points out that Chandler’s recent resume isn’t all that impressive, as he’s only beaten Dan Hooker and Tony Ferguson — who many believe are past their prime:
“Haha, your only two wins in the UFC are Hooker who came out of a loss and Tony who has lost 5 in a row now. Please shut up and stay in line,” Makhachev tweeted.

#1. Dana White compares Florida to Abu Dhabi
Dana White recently heaped praise on Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.
in an interview Tucker Carlson tonightWhite thanked the Republican governor for welcoming the UFC into the “Sunshine State” when no other governor wanted to.
UFC leader also Comparing Florida to Abu Dhabi, the company held the show at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. The 53-year-old promoter told Carlson:
“Florida means a lot to us. During this time, I would equate Florida with Abu Dhabi. Florida Governor DeSantis and Mayor Jacksonville told us, ‘Come in. We’ll host you here. . You can host your event here.’ “I have fighters from all over the world. So fighters from other countries were brought to Abu Dhabi. All Americans, we fought in Jacksonville, Florida. “
