The UAE Vice President on Friday called on ministries and agencies to raise the country’s flag at 11 am on November 3.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, said in a tweet reminding residents about UAE Flag Day: “Our flag will continue to be raised…. ..it is our pride and unity that will last forever… our flag of pride, glory and sovereignty will fly high.”
The celebration of Flag Day is an important annual holiday in the UAE. Citizens and residents came together to raise and wave the flag on a day of pride in the UAE’s achievements, excellence and leadership.
