Abu Dhabi: The launch edition of the Global Media Conference (GMC) opened in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister in the Presidency.
The Conference & Exhibition Congress is organized by ADNEC Group in cooperation with Emirates News Agency (WAM).
Themed “Shaping the Future of the Media Industry”, the three-day event featured more than 1,200 media industry pioneers, experts and influencers from six continents around the world, and hosted more than 30 debates and seminars with more than 162 globally renowned The speaker.
Ali Yosef AlSaad, Director of the Office of Communication and International Relations, said in an interview with ANI: “We face many challenges in the media field. The dynamism of the media industry.”
AlSaad said digital media is a new phenomenon and Congress would be a good place to discuss these new platforms.
Conferences and workshops for young people in media will provide journalists, tech companies, content creators, digital marketing professionals, streaming giants, entertainment executives, regulators and key media stakeholders a venue to share ideas and exchange experiences platform.
In addition, the exhibition attracted more than 170 well-known media organizations and companies from 29 countries around the world, showcasing the latest international technologies in these important fields.

More than 10,000 delegates and media-related companies attended the launch edition of the Global Media Conference.
The event will feature professionals from broadcast, content production, technology, equipment and hardware, as well as professionals from various social media platforms.
According to organizers, the event aims to shape the future of the media industry. Organizers said the event will play a key role in fostering global business connections and facilitating rebranding in the new media space.
Many global media companies are also exhibiting at the show, looking for potential partnerships and collaboration opportunities.
Experts from the media industry will discuss several key topics, most notably digital communication, the impact of artificial intelligence on contemporary media and the integration of advanced technologies and innovations in the media sector
