It will operate Boeing 737-800 four times a week
Kenya Airways today announced the launch of a new direct flight from Mombasa to Dubai. The airline said in its announcement that it will operate the Boeing 737-800 four times a week.
The airline announced the news on its Twitter account, quoting its chief customer and commercial officer, Julius Thairu, as saying: “The launch of this route is part of our network expansion strategy and our support for the Kenyan tourism and hospitality industry. The promise of recovery.”
The airline said the historic flight was aimed at sustaining millions of jobs in the tourism industry through a direct link between Kenya and the Middle East.
It added that travel times to Kenya have decreased, making it an attractive destination for tourists in the region.
