ABU DHABI: President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein of Jordan discussed the brotherhood and cooperation between the two countries.
This happened as President His Highness Sheikh Mohammed received King Abdullah at the Al Shati Palace in Abu Dhabi today.
During the meeting, the UAE President welcomed the King of Jordan, exchanged New Year greetings with him, and prayed to Allah Almighty for further progress and prosperity for the two countries, the region and the world.
The meeting was attended by Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior; HH Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor; HH Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidency His Excellency Al Nahyan; His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Office; Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Special Matters Adviser to the Presidential Court; Dr. Anwar Gargash, Foreign Affairs Adviser to the UAE President; Humaid Obaid Abu Shabas, Chairman of the Supreme Audit Institution.
Ayman Safadi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan was present.
Earlier, the King of Jordan arrived in the country today on a fraternal visit.
On arrival, he was welcomed by President His Highness Sheikh Mohammed and some chiefs.
