Six people have been arrested for stealing a safe from a store. There are two million dirhams in the safe.

Naif police chief Maj. Gen. Tariq Tahlak said the department had received reports that a safe had been stolen from the store. He added that smart surveillance cameras captured crimes from different angles and were able to spot and identify thieves within minutes.

The thief was found to be of Asian nationality. They did not leave any fingerprints and did not break into the house, so there was no trace of them at the scene of the crime. The theft happened without breaking the door, but smart cameras detected them.

“We were able to reveal the identities of the six perpetrators and we were able to return the stolen money in full to the owner, who later came to the Naif Police Station to express his deep gratitude to us for returning his money,” the official said.
