Yanmar Compact Equipment appoints top EMEA executive

Yanmar Compact Equipment, a global player in industrial machinery and construction equipment, has appointed José Cuadrado as its new Managing Director for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.

Cuadrado joins Yanmar’s global leadership team, reporting to the company’s Global Chief Executive Officer, Giuliano Parodi. In his new role, he will be responsible for further developing regional capabilities and driving client success.

Together with his EMEA team, he will play an important role in establishing Yanmar Compact Equipment as a global leader in the compact equipment industry.

Cuadrado brings extensive construction, industrial and automotive-related experience. This understanding spans general management and product management, aftermarket support, digital transformation and strategy.

Cuadrado was most recently CEO of Irish ride-hailing and handling specialist Timoney Technology. His early career included senior positions at well-known global organizations such as Ingersoll-Rand, Bobcat and CNH Industrial.

Global CEO Giuliano Parodi applauded the appointment: “The EMEA region is a strong driver of our global business and I am confident that under Cuadrado’s leadership Yanmar Compact Equipment will be a positive catalyst for change that will support the interests of our customers, Dealers, suppliers, employees and the wider community.”

Cuadrado is Spanish and holds a Master’s degree in Business and Economics from the University of Valladolid (Spain).
