Covid-19: Abu Dhabi announces new entry requirements-News

Entry into Capital is allowed within 48 hours after receiving the negative PCR test result and within 24 hours after receiving the negative DPI result.

The Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Committee has approved new entry requirements for the capital from Monday, July 19.

This decision is part of an active effort to prevent Covid-19 variants and ensure continuous testing.

The committee approved the permission to enter the Emirate within 48 hours after receiving a negative PCR test result and within 24 hours after receiving a negative DPI result.

Those who enter the country through PCR must undergo a PCR test on those who stay for four or more days on the fourth day of entry, and those who stay for eight or more days must have an additional test on the eighth day.

Those who enter the country through the DPI must undergo a PCR test on those who stay for 48 hours or more on the third day of entry, and those who stay for 7 days or longer have an additional PCR test on the seventh day.

The DPI test cannot be used for continuous entry into Abu Dhabi.

This procedure is applicable to all citizens and residents who are vaccinated and not vaccinated.

Those who fail the required tests will be fined.
