ABB E-mobility delivers 1 millionth EV charger

ABB E-mobility has announced the delivery of its one millionth electric vehicle charger, the latest milestone in the company’s ongoing mission to enable an emissions-free future through smart and reliable electric vehicle charging solutions.

In the UAE, ABB has supplied more than 80 DC fast high-power chargers, making it one of the largest single-brand chargers currently operating in the country, including the largest charging station in Yas, Abu Dhabi, and 20 DC fast High power charger.

“We are proud that ABB chargers are now powering electric vehicles in strategic locations in the country, including those of Dubai utility provider DEWA and ADNOC. Valdarno facility

ABB E-mobility opens a new US$30 million, 16,000-square-meter production facility in Valdarno, Italy, in 2022, with operations in more than 85 markets, allowing the company to double its production capacity in the past two years Fan. This cutting-edge manufacturing site sets a new benchmark for the industry, with its 7 production lines producing a DC fast charger every 20 minutes, enabling the company to continue its exceptional growth in recent years.

In addition to the Valdarno plant, ABB E-mobility continues to expand globally. Earlier this month, the company announced the start of production at its new U.S. manufacturing facility — which will produce up to 10,000 chargers a year for use in public charging, school buses and fleets. In 2022, ABB E-mobility’s stake in Chargedot, the main charging provider in China, will also increase significantly.
