They could have reached 128 points in the end, thus losing the game by 9 points.
Sharjah played against the Emirates Blues in their last encounter, Sharjah won the throw and chose to bat. Sharjah started off well with an average run rate but then they dropped several wickets in quick succession. The scoring rate dropped further after that, with almost no points scored. By the end of the first innings they could only take 87 for five wickets. The Blues looked absolutely flawless in the chase, especially with their opener Alishan Sharaf scoring 63 for 28 balls. They chased the target with almost three runs and won the game comfortably by 10 wickets.
