Abu Dhabi police arrest two men with 5kg of cocaine in a drug trafficking operation.

Abu Dhabi police arrested two individuals with 5kg of cocaine intended for sale in the country. This operation dealt a significant blow to an international gang targeting the Middle East with narcotics.

Major Tahir Gharib Al-Zahri, Director of the Anti-Drugs Directorate, credited proactive surveillance, corroborated intelligence, and a court security plan for the successful operation. The authorities monitored the suspects, leading to their arrest and the seizure of the drugs.

Abu Dhabi Police reiterated their commitment to combat the drug epidemic using modern methods and technologies. They employ advanced systems and highly qualified personnel to detect and counter various criminal activities.

Anyone attempting to exploit, promote, or trade narcotics will face strict enforcement measures. Major Al-Zahri urged the community to cooperate with the police by reporting security information through the hotline 8002626, contributing to community safety and protecting youth from drug-related crimes.
