After marrying businessman Ralph Sharma, Mahdavi said goodbye to film and now lives in the United States. In addition to Priscilla, she has two daughters – Evelyn and Tiffany.
Mahavi’s real name is Kanaka Vijayalakshmi. Originally from Andhra Pradesh, she has acted in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi films. In the 80s, she was one of the most popular leading actresses in Malayalam with roles in films like Oru Vadakkan Veeragadha, Aayiram Navulla Anandan, Oru Kadha Oru Nunakkatha and Nombarathi Poovu .
