AYA ‘Advancing Dubai’s Aim to Become the City of the Future’


Hala Badri, Director General of Dubai Culture Authority (Dubai Culture), said AYA is the emirate’s next-generation experiential entertainment park, in line with Dubai’s aspirations to become a city of the future.

Recently opened in Wafi City, AYA invites visitors to step into a vast universe of vibrant interactive experiences across 12 distinct zones, each with its own unique theme and elements relying on the latest technology, and spanning over 40,000 square meters foot.

AYA is an immersive art experience that allows travelers to leave the real world behind and create memories of the future in a vibrant and colorful universe. The Director General’s tour begins with entering the world of Aurora, proceeding to The Source, Drift, Outland and the pool area. The river zone has cosmic stars, pools, lush hills and waterfalls, also visit the waterfalls, Celestia, Flora and Tides, while the experience ends in Harmonia, a three minute long finale with a robotic light show in the mirrored infinity zone extend far away.

Badri affirms that AYA Park represents a quantum leap in Dubai’s innovation process. The emirate was selected by parent company HyperSpace, a Future Forward Entertainment company that builds and operates physical parks for the digital world, as the launch attraction for AYA’s first experience of its kind. It is an example of the emirate’s status as an attractive destination for ambitious ideas and projects, and in line with its aspirations to become a city of the future.

Badri stressed that Dubai’s interest in innovation and technology has helped transform it into an experimental hub, and affirmed Dubai Culture’s support for projects that help realize Dubai’s cultural vision to strengthen its position as a global cultural hub, idea and incubator for one A thriving talent hub.

Badri praised the quality of the concept and content of AYA’s immersive arts experience, stressing that it enhances Dubai’s ability to attract creative talent who can benefit from the opportunities the emirate has to offer.

Through each immersive art experience, AYA’s visitors can play, float and dream in an observatory filled with millions of stars, gardens in bloom and a river of color that spawns storms and pools at every step , which is an otherworldly experience like no other. They’ll also be able to dance with avatars and unlock new characters to interact with as part of a fully immersive experience in Vaults that don’t exist in our known universe. AYA was invented and built by Hyperspace with plans to build more amusement parks in the UAE and other major world cities soon. – trade arab news agency
