Britney Spears seems to hint at a possible joint performance with Elton John at this weekend’s Glastonbury festival.
Music legend Elton, 76, is due to take the stage at the Pyramid Stage on Sunday and his husband, David Furnish, has previously hinted that he may be joined by four surprise guests at the event.
The 41-year-old pop star was known for her hit song on Thursday one more baby time, shared on her social media account a picture of an apple with what appears to be the flag of St. George’s engraved on it. In addition, she added three Union Jack emojis to the caption of the post, which may fuel further speculation and rumours.
The artist also teased their potential collaboration further by posting an image of a McDonald’s meal with an additional Union Jack flag.
Britney previously collaborated with Elton on the 2022 song catch I’m closerwhich was her first release after 13 years in custody.
In an interview last September, Elton expressed his desire to “boost Britney’s confidence” and said he hoped their duet could serve as a catalyst for her to write new music.
He added that he was “happy for her because it brought her back to where she was made famous, as a singer and an artist.”
