fox has taken the unprecedented step of moving the Dan Harmon-created comedy to the 2023/24 season, reversing plans for the series to premiere as a four-show, two-hour run in May.

Fox scripted programming president Michael Thorn’s contract renewal comes as the company is in the UK for a London screening event where it will source international buyers.
Krapolis long pregnancy; harmon sign A direct deal was struck with the broadcast network in July 2020, with a commitment to produce a series. While some may think the constant shakeup of its premiere is a bad sign for the network show, the fact that there’s already a third season before the public has had a chance to see it shows Fox’s confidence in it . It also knows that the possibility of launching an animated show during football season would give it a better chance of success. It doesn’t hurt to have the finished product aired if any writers go on strike.

The move comes as international buyers get the chance to see it at a London screening, where Fox and its recently launched Fox Entertainment Global business, run by Fernando Szew, will also feature the Joel McHale comedy animal control Enter the international market tomorrow with a lavish screening and event at the Charlotte Street Hotel.
Krapolis Set in the mythical ancient Greece, it tells the story of a dysfunctional family of humans, gods, and monsters who try to run the world’s first cities—but without trying to kill each other.
The series is voiced by Hannah Waddingham, Richard Ayord, Matt Berry, Pam Murphy and Duncan Trussel.
Ayoade voices Tyrannis, the mortal son of a goddess. He is the benevolent king of Krapopolis, trying to make a living in a city worthy of the name. Waddingham plays Deliria, mother of Tyrannis, goddess of self-destruction and questionable choices. Within her Olympian family—forged in patricide and infidelity—she was known as a no-good. Berry is Shlub, the father of Tyrannis, a praying mantis – centaur (horse + human), centaur (lion + human + scorpion). He’s oversexualized, underworked, claims to be an artist, and literally hasn’t been paid for anything in his life. Murphy voices Tyrannis’ half-sister, Deliria, and Cyclops’ daughter, Stupendous. Trussell plays Hippocampus, the half-brother of Tyrannis, the offspring of Shlub and the mermaid, who, biologically speaking, is clearly a mess.
Dove Cameron, Tara Strong, Alanna Ubach make regular appearances, and Susan Sarandon, Will Forte, Michael Urie, Jane Lynch, Amber Stevens West, Yvette Nicole Brown and Dave Franco make cameo appearances.
The series was created and executive produced by Rick and Morty co-creator Harmon, and produced by Fox’s Bento Box Entertainment. Jordan Young serves as producer and executive producer.
Fox also launched the show on the blockchain through its Blockchain Creative Labs business, and the series became network television’s first animated series curated on the blockchain. That means it will sell digital merchandise and NFTs, offering fans exclusive experiences including access to token-gated content, exclusive show voting rights, a private Discord channel, and opportunities to meet cast and crew.
