Emirates and Kenya Airways enter into interline partnership

Emirates and Kenya Airways (KQ) have announced an interline partnership that will allow customers of both airlines to visit new destinations across both airlines’ networks on a single itinerary. The agreement will provide customers with more travel options and seamless baggage check-in to their final destination.

Emirates customers can now fly to 28 destinations in the Kenya Airways network, with Nairobi as the gateway to Nampula, Bangui, Bujumbara, Kigali, Zaodezi, Lubumbashi, Kinshasa , Kilimanjaro, Juba, Zanzibar and many other regional points across Africa.

Additionally, as part of a bilateral interline arrangement, Emirates passengers traveling via Dubai can also book a one-way airfare itinerary to and from Mombasa, one of Kenya’s most popular leisure destinations.

Likewise, Kenya Airways passengers departing from Nairobi and Mombasa can now use the Emirates network and connect seamlessly via Dubai to 23 destinations in West and South Asia, the Far East, the Indian Ocean and the Middle East such as Singapore, Tokyo, Bangkok, Ahmedabad, Beirut, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Seoul, etc.

Kenya Airways recently launched direct flights between Mombasa and Dubai, offering customers four flights per week. KQ currently operates 10 weekly flights from Nairobi to Dubai using a mix of B737-800s and Dreamliner B787-800s.
