Emirates News Agency – Abu Dhabi Chamber sponsors UAE Labor Market Awards


ABU DHABI, 14th May, 2023 (WAM) — The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, ADCCI, has announced its sponsorship of the UAE Labor Market Awards, presented under Vice President Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidency organized under the patronage of His Highness Nahyan.
The awards recognize the efforts of leading private sector entities and outstanding individuals and highlight successful labor market practices across sectors in the country.
Abu Dhabi Chamber’s sponsorship of the inaugural awards is in line with its status as a private sector enabler and trusted partner of the public and private sectors.

The Chamber plays a leading role in supporting national projects and initiatives that strengthen the UAE’s reputation and support it to increase the productivity, efficiency and competitiveness of the labor market.

The Chamber works to improve the well-being and quality of life of private sector workers.
Dr Abdulrahman Al Awar, UAE Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation and Chairman of the Awards Oversight Committee, said: “The UAE Labor Market Award is in line with our wise leadership’s vision of building a competitive knowledge-based economy and building on the UAE’s leading reputation to enhance the productivity of the labor market. The awards will include a category for Labor Market Leaders, subcategories covering SMEs, large and very large companies, an Outstanding Workforce category and more.

The awards ceremony will be held in November.
