ABU DHABI, 8th March, 2023 (WAM) — The Abu Dhabi Music and Art Foundation, ADMAF, commemorated the 2022 winners in the fields of Art, Design and Sustainability at an awards ceremony held at the Emirates Palace.
The list of UAE winners includes artist and Zayed University graduate Ameena Aljarman, who won the Gulf Capital – ADMAF Visual Arts Award for her digital video work “My Grandmother Ameena’s Wish”; playwright Hamdan bin Shfayan Alameri, with his play “2071 Room No. 1 Gulf Capital – ADMAF Creativity Award; American University of Sharjah architecture graduate Maitha Al Hammadi won the TotalEnergies Sustainable Design Award for her project “Agro-Industrial Tourism”; and jewelery designer and Dubai Academy of Design and Innovation’s Students Asma Almarri and Media Alfalasi received the 2022 ADMAF Design Fund Award, and their earmuffs ‘Osha’ received support from L’Ecole Van Cleef and Arpels.
The award was presented by Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence.
