Work begins on next moon mission, UAE Space Center official reveals

Abu Dhabi: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has started work on a second lunar rover, a senior official at the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Center (MBRSC) revealed on Wednesday, local media reported.

“Whether we succeed in landing on the moon or not, well, it’s a risky venture, but again it’s not the end. Whether or not we succeed this time, we’ve already started working and planning for the next MBRSC mission. We’ve started research​​​​ Concept and goals, but no name yet.”

“It’s not the end, if it doesn’t happen this time, it will be (considered) a trial and we’ll move on to a second, third and so on (mission) until we succeed.”
