ABU DHABI, 9th March, 2023 (WAM) — Lega Serie A, Italy’s premier professional football league, has announced the imminent opening of its first office in Abu Dhabi in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region led by Alfonso Stefano is An accomplished executive with over 20 years of experience in the regional sports media industry, including roles at Abu Dhabi Sports Council and Abu Dhabi Media.
To celebrate the milestone, the league has teamed up with XDubai, the UAE’s leading adventure and extreme sports centre, to launch a stunning video capturing the arrival of Italian football in the region.
The video shows some of the league’s top teams skydiving the UAE, donning their respective jerseys against the backdrop of the country’s most famous destination, and glimpses football legend Christian Vieri at the helm of the plane.
