ABU DHABI, 24th February, 2023 (WAM) — His Excellency Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed, Member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Office, visited the International Defense Exhibition (IDEX) and Naval Defense Exhibition (NAVDEX), global decision makers and experts come together to discuss a shared vision for security and view cutting-edge innovations shaping the industry.
The events were held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC) in Abu Dhabi under the patronage of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
His Highness was accompanied by his children, Major-General Faris Khalaf Al Mazrouei, Commander-in-Chief of the Abu Dhabi Police, and Humaid Matar Al Dhaheri, Group Chief Executive Officer of Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company (ADNEC).
During his visit, Sheikh Khaled visited the pavilions of domestic and foreign companies that are leading in the field of state-of-the-art land, sea and air defense solutions and equipment. He was also briefed on initiatives to strengthen the UAE’s capabilities in the field of defense and security.
IDEX attracts companies from all over the world to showcase products and services in the defense sector and showcase home-grown innovations that rival international offerings in terms of quality, design and performance.
NAVDEX is the world’s leading event for the maritime defense industry, attracting global experts and innovators to share knowledge, forge partnerships and showcase new products being developed by UAE and international companies.
