ABU DHABI, 5th July, 2023 (WAM) — Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, was briefed on the Ministry’s recent efforts to support and cultivate outstanding Internationally recognized brief for the efforts of our employees, aligned with global best practice.
The Ministry has become the first entity in the region to receive this distinction, placing it among the leading global government entities in this regard.
During the briefing, Colonel Dr. Omar Al Ali, Director of Capacity Development, Ministry of the Interior, gave an overview of the “Best Talent Management” award. The award was presented to the department by the United States Organization for Talent Management and Development (Association for Talent Development), an influential international organization with members from more than 120 countries.
The Home Office was awarded this award for its outstanding achievements in headhunting top performers and employing talent development solutions as a fundamental part of its strategic plan. The ministry’s practice delivers sustainable and measurable results in talent development and empowerment. This includes implementing policies, procedures, programs and initiatives and utilizing strategic influences, standards, metrics, assessments and support systems to effectively motivate and manage talent.
Established in 2003, the award enjoys a high international reputation and is open to organizations at all levels and sectors, whether private or government, for-profit or not-for-profit. The award is presented annually to an entity that meets the strict criteria and requirements set by the awarding body.
