ABU DHABI, 13th June, 2023 (WAM) — His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President, today met with Mohamed Idriss Deby Eit, Transitional President of the Republic of Chad promised to discuss bilateral relations and opportunities for further cooperation.
During the meeting at Qasr Al Bahr in Abu Dhabi, His Highness welcomed President Deby and conveyed his best wishes to Chad and its people.
The two leaders discussed various regional and international issues and expressed their shared belief in the importance of dialogue for stability and progress.
His Highness and the Transitional President reviewed bilateral relations and explored ways to strengthen cooperation between the UAE and Chad, especially in the fields of economy, trade, renewable energy, food security, and logistics services.
President Deby thanked His Highness for the welcome and expressed his appreciation for the UAE’s support for his country, especially its development. He commended His Highness Sheikh Mohammed’s approach in promoting regional and international peace and stability.
