[ad_1]

The coolest new building in the capital…

Itchy temperatures in the UAE right now 50 degree mark, we have very welcome news. They’ve finally opened their doors, and for the first time ever – Snow Abu Dhabi is now open at Reem Mall.

Apologies for adapting lines from popular Disney films, freezingwe’re just a little excited, and the theme feels right on-brand.

snow difference

Talking about the ‘theme’, after visiting yesterday, we discovered – this is one of the most exciting differences between Ski Abu Dhabi and Ski Dubai. Both are Majid Al Futtaim’s deep-cold mega-projects, and both involve donning winter clothing and taking a break from the cold, and both offer some version of space balls, hot chocolate, snowball fights, and snowman ammo. But the “enchanted forest theme” of Abu Dhabi Snowfields is carefully integrated into the experience.

It may not have the slopes of Ski Dubai, so no skiing or snowboarding, as the focus here is on real “piste”, which is a more inclusive form of fun. The 9,732-square-meter space is temperature-controlled to a super-cool 2°C and offers more than 20 rides and attractions, as well as three food and beverage outlets (including a café stand where you can buy a creamy hot chocolate).
