Fog warning issued for Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, cloudy and dusty UAE, humidity to reach 90%, maximum temperature to reach 47°C

DUBAI: Heavy fog in parts of Abu Dhabi on Monday morning forced drivers to take extra care on the road. The National Meteorological Center has issued red and amber weather warnings to warn motorists of low road visibility in these areas until 8.30am.

Today, the weather in most parts of the country is generally mainly sunny and cloudy, with sand and dust weather. According to the NCM, some parts of the country may experience rain.

The highest temperature across the country is expected to be between 43-47°C, and the lowest temperature is expected to be between 25-29°C.

The highest temperature in coastal areas is 39-43°C, and in mountainous areas is 30-35°C.

The NCM added: “Light to moderate winds, sometimes blowing dust and sand, at speeds of 10 to 20 km/h and up to 40 km/h.”

Humidity will be 75% to 90% in coastal areas, while 45% to 60% is expected in mountainous areas.

Relative humidity is expected to increase overnight and Tuesday morning, particularly along the coast and inland, leading to fog formation.

The sea will be light to moderately rough, with the Arabian Gulf getting rough at times during the day and the Sea of ​​Oman light.
