Dwayne Johnson dreams of winning an Oscar.
The 50-year-old actor – who rose to fame as a professional wrestler in the ’90s – has revealed that he hopes to one day win an Oscar.
He shared: “I would love to win an Oscar one day. I would love to be on the Oscar stage one day.”
The wrestler-turned-actor even thought about what he might say in his acceptance speech.
He told ET: “I think what an Oscar speech would be like, who would I thank, how would I speak, right?
“Can I prepare something? I know a lot of Oscar winners, you know, [have said] “I tried to prepare something and it just disappeared out the window.”
Dwayne previously admitted it was “incredibly gratifying” to be named the highest-paid actor in the world.
When asked if it was a major milestone in his career, Dwayne explained: “It’s exciting, it’s incredibly satisfying. But anything I’ve achieved is having a huge confidence and The result of determination to succeed in life.
“I had to get off the floor and work really hard to get back to life.”
Dwayne insists he has to be successful in Hollywood “from start to finish.”
He hopes aspiring actors can take some inspiration from his career.
He said: “Trying to get a job in Hollywood, I have that mentality from start to finish where you keep fighting until you get a job, then the next, and then move on. I hope a lot of people can look at me. life and see that hard work and ambition can take you a long way.”
