The first day of the International Boxing Association’s Global Boxing Forum (IBA GBF) in Abu Dhabi concluded with a plethora of discussion panels, keynotes, roundtables and seminars.
The theme of this year’s IBA GBF is ‘Ensuring good opportunities for athletes and the IBA’s place in the Olympics’.
The IBA GBF brings together experts and industry leaders to discuss relevant topics including sport for peace and its power to support conflict resolution, challenges and solutions for the development of boxing across five continents, integrity in sport and governance, the career journey from the IBA to the professional , digital media and its role in the development of boxing in the Gulf region, social responsibility and humanitarian initiatives powered by the IBA’s Digitally Transformed Boxing.
