Jebel Ali Village Opens 892 New Homes in Dubai
Dubai has started handing over homes at the redeveloped Jebel Ali Village, marking a major step for one of the city’s newest residential communities.
Nakheel, part of Dubai Holding Real Estate, has begun handing over 892 villas and townhouses to residents. The development covers about 80 hectares near Ibn Battuta Mall and is expected to accommodate around 5,500 residents.
The project replaces the original Jebel Ali Village community, which had 290 homes. Those properties were demolished more than four years ago as part of the redevelopment.
What Does Jebel Ali Village Offer?
The new Jebel Ali Village has been designed as a low-density residential community focused on family living and outdoor spaces.
The development includes villas and townhouses alongside parks, swimming pools, cycling routes and children’s play areas. A community centre is also planned as part of the wider development.
Its location near Ibn Battuta Mall gives residents access to shopping, dining and other services. The wider Jebel Ali area also provides connections to major parts of Dubai.
The redevelopment comes as demand for larger family homes continues to support Dubai’s residential property market. Nakheel’s latest handover means more residents can now move into the community as construction and infrastructure work progresses.
With hundreds of homes becoming occupied, Jebel Ali Village is expected to develop into a major family residential destination in Dubai.
