Kim Kardashian has publicly condemned Kanye West’s anti-Semitic remarks.
After Kanye recently posted anti-Semitic messages online, the 42-year-old star took to social media to express her support for the Jewish community.
Kim – who owns nine-year-old North, six-year-old Saints, four-year-old Chicago and three-year-old Psalm, and the rap star – tweeted: “Hate speech is never good or forgivable. “I stand with the Jewish community and call for an immediate end to the horrific violence and hate speech directed against them.”
Still, Kim didn’t actually mention her ex-husband by name. Her comments also came days after singer-boy George questioned why Kim didn’t condemn Kanye’s controversial remarks.
The chart-topping pop star said at the time: “I’m shocked Kim Kardashian didn’t come forward and add her voice to this debate because this woman has kids with Kanye, so she has to understand what it’s like to be a mother. How frustrating and horrible it must be for Jewish kids to hear these fucking comments.”
Meanwhile, talent agency CAA has cut ties with Kanye following Kanye’s recent comments.
The “Stronger” producer has been a CAA client since 2016 — but the agency decided to end its relationship with Kanye in light of the controversy.
Elsewhere, MRC, the production company that was set to release Kanye’s documentary, also confirmed it would no longer be working with the rap star.
“We cannot support any content that expands its platform,” the company said in a statement.
“The silence from leaders and companies when it comes to Kanye or anti-Semitism in general is frustrating, but not surprising. What’s new and sad is that Jews are afraid to speak up in their own defense.”
