Nigeria/UAE: Getting Old and Growing

[ad_1]

Growing old is the wish of all human beings. Getting older isn’t strictly a choice; there are other factors involved. An early death is a disaster; everyone’s prayer is long life. People who go to church pray for immortality, and people in mosques also pray for immortality. Traditionalists are also doing their best to discover the secrets of old age, and claim to have many concoctions that will make them live longer and age better. God only knows how many cuts were made on some people’s heads to protect and prevent their untimely death. Getting older is good, but it’s meaningless when the people involved haven’t grown up with it. When a person is old, he does not grow up, just like a child in adult clothes. The combination of the two makes for a beautiful country. Despite its dire consequences, getting older is desirable for all. Getting older means a weaker metabolism; bones tend to shrink in size and density. In fact, no matter how tall a person may be, they may become shorter, their muscles will lose strength, and then the inevitable will happen, but when a person grows up, there will always be someone who continues where he left off. No wonder the Western world is building on the solid foundations laid by its predecessors.

Growing up is not the same as getting older; growing up is inner and outer growth, reaching full stature or physical or spiritual maturity. It involves intellectual growth. Synonyms for growing up are: thriving, blooming, prospering, developing, matured etc. Growing up does not necessarily refer to the number of years spent on earth, and growing old refers to the number of years but is not necessarily a synonym for the growth process I mentioned above. Getting old and growing should be paired together. Nigeria gained independence on October 1, 1960, so numerically, we are 62 years old, so it can be said that Nigeria is getting old. Looking at the definition of getting old, we see that our metabolism is getting weaker, the fabrics that have held us up for years are torn in multiple places; the unity/strength that was supposed to be our backbone is weakened, in fact, the foundation of unity is gone exist.

Due to lack of proper and adequate care, we look older than our actual age. The nutrition that makes one look younger than one’s age has long since ceased, so at 62 we’re wrinkled, but we’re still crawling. We heard Sheikh Gumi say that northerners should not vote for anyone who promises to kill northern bandits. He admitted that the bandits were their soldiers. So the bandits who ransacked South Kaduna, Borno and Kujay Prison were all northern soldiers. I say all this because no one in the North denies what Mr. Gumi said. At one point, he called the bandits businessmen who only steal children and people for business purposes. I was interviewed by Galaxy Satellite TV about this around August this year and called for the arrest of Sheikh Gumi. I made it clear that a terrorist’s friend is a terrorist, and a bandit’s friend is a bandit. The veil was completely removed; Sheikh Gumi was very bold against a country that was growing old, but nothing happened to him.

Sunday Igboho only demanded the freedom of the Yoruba from the increasingly ancient country as the center was out of capacity, but the messenger of death was sent to his home and he just escaped the beard. All his possessions were destroyed and he is now in exile. Nigeria is indeed getting older, but not growing up. Is there no reason for the agitators to clamor for independence? The northern bandits wantonly destroyed the south, and the northern bandits massacred the people in the south, isn’t that right? If Nigeria had been peaceful and prosperous, no one would clamor for secession, but would anyone with a sense of normality want to live in a country where someone like Sheikh Gumi called the shots? After the Igboho chief was forcibly evicted from his home and forced into exile, Sheikh Gumi visited and videotaped his ancestral land in Igboho. This is a victory for jihadists in a country that is getting older rather than growing.

growing up

In 1971, the United Arab Emirates became a federation of six emirates. The country is developing rapidly. The UAE is only 51 years old, but it’s still one of the most beautiful countries in the world. She is flourishing, flowering, developing, prospering and maturing. It is developing every day; people are not satisfied with their level and are working hard every day. The UAE is a perfect example of a growing country. There is no need for the UAE to disband as they are developing equal treatment. Putting the two countries side by side, Nigeria has more natural resources than the UAE, Nigeria has a better climate than the UAE, and Nigeria has more human resources than the UAE. The UAE is more or less a desert, but it has learned the secret of growing old and growing at the same time, and is using it to its own advantage.

So what is Nigeria’s problem? Nigeria is being torn apart by seemingly irreconcilable and irreparable divisions on multiple fronts. Without unity of purpose, the interests of the North are not the same as those of the South. The interests of the wealthy elite are not equated with those of the poor. While the wealthy elite are doing everything they can to protect their wealth and recycle themselves so that their wealth can be passed on from generation to generation, the poor are thinking about how to send their children to school and enjoy all the social benefits reserved for the rich. At the same time high society is trying to make sure the poor don’t climb the ladder and seriously do their best to keep them away from Nigeria is getting old and refusing to grow up, we are not only getting older but getting shorter and shorter every day. We have lost influence in Africa, we are no longer seen as giants in Africa, we are economically like dwarfs in the Congo Basin. We cannot deal effectively with religion. Everywhere you go in Nigeria you see religious people who don’t know God and don’t understand his principles, that’s one of the reasons we pray and pray, but nothing happens. Instead, the witch was given birth and healed, and she was producing more female children. The oracles in Nigeria are bad because instead of getting better, things are getting worse.
