Abu Dhabi, UAE: Applications are now open for New York University Abu Dhabi’s (NYUAD) Summer Undergraduate Visiting Research Program, which offers undergraduates from NYU, NYU Shanghai and UAE University the opportunity to participate in research projects during the summer, sponsored by NYUAD faculty supervision. Summer 2023 placements will be on campus from May 30 to July 25.
The Access Summer Undergraduate Research Program will allow full-time undergraduate students with strong academic and disciplinary standing to participate in interdisciplinary research placements.
Farhana Goha, Director of Visiting Student Programs and Student Research at NYU, said: “The Undergraduate Visiting Summer Research Program is a unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on research experience under the direction and mentorship of an NYU mentor. This includes sample preparation and field experiments , experimental data analysis, collecting raw data, analyzing quantitative data, writing literature reviews or research reports, and filming videos to assist in research promotion and communication. This program provides a platform for visiting students to contribute to meaningful, ongoing research projects make a contribution.”
