The Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) in Abu Dhabi has formally notified the public about an upcoming partial closure of a significant road, set to commence from Monday.

Affected Route and Duration: Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed International Road (E11) in Al Dhafra

As outlined in a recent social media update by the center, the impacted roadway is Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed International Road (E11), located in the Al Dhafra region. The scheduled partial closure is slated to span from December 18 to 29. Specifically, the left lane of the road, directing traffic towards Abu Dhabi, will be subject to closure during this period. The closure will begin at midnight and persist until 5 pm on December 29.

Safety Advisory: Caution and Compliance Urged: Partial

In light of this announcement, the center has proactively urged all road users to exercise heightened caution and strict adherence to traffic rules and regulations throughout the specified duration of the partial closure. This appeal aims to ensure the safety and smooth flow of traffic during the road closure.

Planning Ahead: Considerations for Road Users

Road users and commuters are advised to plan their routes with consideration for potential delays and adjustments due to the partial closure. The notification from the center serves as a reminder of the shared responsibility among all stakeholders to uphold a secure and efficient transportation system in the region.
