PM Modi declares Aug 23 National Space Day for India’s Moon mission

PM Modi has designated August 23 as National Space Day in honor of Chandrayaan-3‘s Moon landing. The Vikram lander’s landing spot is now ‘Shivshakti’ point, and Chandrayaan-2’s is ‘Tiranga’ point, fostering inspiration and resilience.

Visiting Bengaluru’s ISRO command center, Modi praised scientists for their Make In India effort on the Moon.

Despite being abroad during the landing, Modi’s heart was with the scientists. His emotional address celebrated India’s lunar success, encapsulating a unique joy.
