exclusive: Sofia Vergaraof latin world entertainment Deadline has learned that Tatiana Castro has been promoted to vice president of content and partnerships.
Castro was previously Head of Development and Partnerships at the company founded by 4-time Primetime Emmy nominee and Luis Balaguer.
“Tatiana has been instrumental in tracking and acquiring IP, and her hard work and passion can be felt in every area of our company,” said Shares Kate Presutti, Executive Vice President of Creative Development at Latin World. “We are delighted to have her join us in this new role.”
Castro has been with the company from UTA for more than three years. She also spent time at Sugar23 under the direction of former Disney exec Ben Sherwood and Spotlight producer Michael Sugar.
Latin World Entertainment (LWE) is a full-service diversified entertainment and media company specializing in account management, production and licensing. LWE has business partnerships with many major brands including Walmart.They recently wrapped the Netflix series Griselda As one of many English and Spanish language film/TV projects they are developing.
