Titan officials said at the launch that the watches were inspired by the culture, architecture and people of the Middle East and designed for modern Arabic men and women.

The iconic womenswear collection features metal-etched Mashrabiya motifs, lacquered sunray dials and premium crystals, in a versatile green hue that make it extremely wearable, they say.

From the Arabic numerals to the gemstone setting, the intricate details and dark tones of the women’s watches in this collection reflect the elegance of today’s Arabian woman, they added.

It will also be sold at Titan Watch kiosks and stores in the GCC in Oman, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain and Qatar.

According to the official introduction, the green dial of this iconic men’s watch is inspired by Mashrabiya (carved lattice), which is a popular feature of traditional Arabic and Islamic architecture.

In fact, the dials of all men’s watches are inspired by modern architecture, with crescent-shaped central hands, Arabic numerals and bold faceted hour markers, giving each watch a classic and modern look.

Unveiling the special Eid collection, Aditya Kejriwal, Head of Marketing, Titan International Business, said the Titan Marhaba captures the beauty and power of Arabic sensibilities and employs subtle design cues that resonate, offering customers a timepiece that seamlessly blends tradition and modernity.

Inspired by modern architecture, Arabic calligraphy and traditional motifs, discerning consumers are sure to appreciate the many subtle cultural cues embedded in each watch, he said.

His sentiments were echoed by Gaurav Midha, Business Director International for Watches, Eyewear, Fragrances and Accessories, who flew in for the launch.
